Practice

A short list of names, and a shorter list of companies for each.

Hanover Advisory is a one-principal practice. It owns the names it offers, so there is no seller to track down and no commission sitting on top of the price.

01 What we do

Three parts to the work.

Choosing who to write to

For each name we read the market it describes: who sells that product or runs that service, in which region, and under what web address today. A company already trading under a longer or hyphenated address, or on a country ending, is the usual fit.

Writing once, briefly

We send a short note to the person who would decide, saying which name and why it matches. If there is no interest, a one-word reply ends it and we do not write again.

Seeing it through

When a company wants the name, we agree the figure, open escrow, push the transfer and stay on until it resolves under the new owner. Details are on the sequence page.

02 What we do not do

Plainly, so no one wastes a call.

No marketplace

There is no cart and no listing page with prices. Each name is discussed with the company it suits, one conversation at a time.

No buying on your behalf

We do not approach third-party owners for clients or take a percentage for doing so. The names offered here are ours.

No trademarked names

We do not hold or offer a name that is someone's registered brand. You are welcome to run your own clearance before agreeing anything.

03 Who answers

Mostly operators, rarely investors.

The companies that take our names tend to be growth-stage operators, businesses with several locations, and professional practices whose clients search by the service rather than the firm. The person on the other side is usually a founder or a marketing lead.
